Unseen MAFS footage exposes who sparked Bec and Rachel’s row

Stan’s After The Dinner Party has revealed a conversation between Steven and Bec led to the controversial comment during a speech.

Married At First Sight has been engulfed in a major drama this week over one 10-lettered word said during the retreat.

Bride Bec Zacharia made a speech at the start of the holiday in regional NSW celebrating all the couples’ recent milestones.

But her choice of words to call out explicit details of Rachel Gilmore and Steven Danyluk’s sexual activity went down like a lead balloon.

It had initially seemed like an out-of-the-blue comment as Rachel had only moments earlier told the group they had taken their intimacy to another level and left it at that.

Stan’s After The Dinner Party has now revealed the unaired Channel 9 footage that led to Bec’s comment — a response from Steven.

What did the unaired MAFS footage reveal?

The footage showed Steven sitting with Bec and Alissa Fay away from the others, with Bec congratulating him on upping the foreplay in his marriage.

But when Bec was talking in more detail about their bedroom antics, Steven joked: “How do you know it’s only one finger?”

MAFS is filmed between July and October, but After The Dinner Party is filmed each week and it features interviews with cast members to see how they felt about certain parts of the season.

Steven said he was disgusted by what he said to the brides that night last year.

“Watching that back, I feel mortified,” he told hosts Jules Lund, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne.
