MAFS BOMBSHELL: MAFS’ Scott praised after calling out Gia and Chris’ nasty behaviour: ‘Truth always comes out’
Scott opened up in a vulnerable video on Instagram.

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 groom Scott McCristal has poured his heart out in an emotional Instagram video, calling out his ex-wife Gia Fleur and her best friend Chris Robinson. If you’re not across it, Gia, Chris and her friend Will shaded Scott’s family members and friends during a TikTok Live. Will described Scott’s friend Paige as a “stupid b*tch”, and Gia said one of Scott’s brothers had “missing teeth [and] was on drugs”.
In the video, Scott said he wasn’t usually the type of person to respond online, but noted he had been getting so many messages about this particular TikTok Live.
“What I wanna do here is not bring others down because that’s not what I do. But I want to set a good demonstration about, you know, how I feel about this,” Scott began.
“Yes, it does hurt, and it does suck. But at the same time, I don’t respond to things like this. I ignore it, I don’t retaliate, I don’t go to media, I don’t go to [the] public, I don’t do any of that stuff.”
However, the groom said he wanted to come on Instagram to try and help people get through similar situations.
“If you wanna come at my family when you don’t even know them, and my best friends, call them certain names, have a good look at yourself,” he added. “I have done nothing but move forward… and that’s what’s gotten me by.
“For anyone out there that is witnessing something like this, don’t go off the rails, don’t go do something silly, because that means they’ve won.”

Scott finished by saying he’s been ignoring Gia’s attacks throughout MAFS, because that’s the best way to hurt the attacker. He said that this type of behaviour doesn’t get to him, but he still feels disappointed that it happens.
“Silence is key. Just focus on you. Go hard, be healthy, and look at the results. Life’s great,” he said.
Scott’s friends and family respond
In just 16 hours, Scott’s video racked up 154,000 views, with hundreds of comments from his friends, family and fans.
Paige Royal, one of Scott’s friends who was targeted in the TikTok Live, shared a heartfelt comment on his post. “I have watched certain people try destroy you by going to the media with fake articles and talking down about you online and you never retaliated,” she said.
“You have stayed true to yourself and like we have always said, ‘the truth always comes out’. Proud of you bro, kindness always wins.”
“I’m so proud of you holding it strong. You’re 100% right! I don’t get involved with drama but her talking sh*t about you got me in those comments, I had to defend,” another added.
“Their behaviour was atrocious and they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Zero class and no elegance about them at all. You have been nothing but an exemplary way of how decent people should behave,” a third chimed in.
MAFS stars Danny Hewitt, David Momoh and Jamie Marinos also commented to show their support.
Did Chris or Gia apologise for their cruel TikTok Live?
Chris and Gia haven’t released any statements online about their TikTok Live, but Chris did respond to it on Stan’s After The Dinner Party.
“I sent you a text message apologising,” Chris told Scott on the show.
“You’re friends with this person,” Scott retorted. “It’s not on.”

Chris then said he was “so sorry” and admitted he was “guilty by association”.
“I actually wanted to get out of the Live, but I was laughing… I tried to redirect it,” Chris added.
