It was love at first sight.
When he’s not putting his carpentry and presenting skills to good use on The Block, Scott Cam is busy being a family man.
The TV star, 63, tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, and he and his wife have rarely discussed one another publicly.
So, who is Scott married to and how long have they been together?

Is Scott Cam married?
Yes! Scott has been married to his wife Ann for nearly 35 years.
Scott has previously revealed he was instantly smitten when they met back in 1989.
At the time, Scott had been travelling the country as a carpenter, but returned to Sydney to stay with his mother after his father’s death.
While he was back in the city, he went to watch his friends play footy in the Blue Mountains, which was where he saw Ann chatting with her own pals.
“I went home and told my mum I’d met the girl I was going to marry,” he told our sister publication Woman’s Day in 2011.
“She looks after me and has done since the day I met her.”
Who is Scott Cam’s wife?
Ann works as a school teacher, and she married Scott in 1992.
Ann is usually very private and doesn’t usually take part in interviews, once describing herself as “a bit quieter and more shy”.
She is rarely seen publicly with Scott, only joining him on the occasional red carpet, but they were recently seen looking as loved-up as ever during a beach outing.
In a picture from their day out, the married couple threw their arms around one another, proving they are just as loved-up as when they first met nearly 40 years ago.
Does Scott Cam have children?
In 1996, Scott and Ann welcomed their first son, Charlie. Two years later, the couple had twins, Bill and Sarah.
His family is still growing as Scott became a grandfather for the first time in March 2025.
His son, Charlie, welcomed his first child, a daughter called Tilly, with his partner, Amber.
“I’m so proud of Charlie and Amber, she is absolutely gorgeous,” Scott gushed in an Instagram post at the time.
Scott later opened up on what it was like becoming a grandfather in a candid interview with 9Now.
“It is a different feeling [to being a parent], it’s the next generation of your blood, and it’s quite surreal to be in that,” he shared.
All of his children and his granddaughter, Tilly, were able to visit him on set in Daylesford while he filmed season 21 of The Block.
One arm around Bill and one around Sarah as the family enjoyed a fancy night out, the presenter wrote, “From little things big things grow. Happy 21st birthday to my most favourite twins. I love you .”
The 58-year-old also marked Charlie’s 23rd birthday back in 2019, sharing a throwback shot of his eldest son as a baby to his Instagram.
“Young bloke is turning 23 today, Happy Birthday Charlie Rocco,” the Block host wrote.
Scott also described Ann as a “great mum” to Woman’s Day. And after three kids and nearly 30 years of marriage, the couple remain as loved up as ever.
“She looks after me and has done since the day I met her,” the presenter told the publication. In fact, the former carpenter has explained that the school teacher might look after him a bit “too well”.
Recently unveiling his dramatic body transformation, Scott has previously revealed how he has lost weight after being away from his wife to film for The Block.
“I think my wife Ann looks after me too well when I’m home,” Scott told WD. “I was away from her for a couple of months while I was in Melbourne, so I had to fend for myself. I didn’t have all those little nice things in the cupboard like cakes and biscuits.”
It is clear that Ann is everything to Scott, who has explained he “can’t see any part of (his) life without her”.
“We’re joined – that’s what the secret is. I think you need that feeling to have a successful marriage.”
