‘Not easy for them’: Lachie Neale ‘affair’ impact on Tess Crosley’s devout Mormon family revealed – as her celebrity sister is unmasked

The impact of Tess Crosley’s alleged affair with AFL star Lachie Neale has reportedly taken its toll on her Mormon family, including her well-known sister.

Tess Crosley’s Mormon family has reportedly found it difficult to deal with the ongoing public scrutiny facing their daughter following allegations she is the woman at the centre of Lachie Neale’s shock split from his wife Jules.

A few months ago, Tess was a relatively unknown married mum of one, and her sister was the more famous of the two.

Her sister is Tanika ‘Tani’ Caesar, a social media influencer with more than two million followers across Instagram and TikTok.

Tess, 30, and her famous sister grew up on the Gold Coast and were members of the Mormon church from an early age.

The former dental hygienist completed missionary work in Perth when she was 20, but it is understood that the sisters moved away from the religion later in life.

Their parents reportedly found it “hard to come to terms with” their daughters leaving the church, and the current publicity surrounding Tess is having an effect.

“Family comes first and they will be supporting Tess but this will not be easy for them,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“Tanika also left the church, which they found very hard to come to terms with, so Tess’s situation being public will be tough.”

Tanika has not spoken out about the saga, but has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media and has not shared a post since November.

Tess became embroiled in the Neales’ marriage breakdown when Jules, 35, publicly called her out in December.

The hairdresser branded her ex-best friend an “idiot” and demanded she remove all photos of them together.

“Take these down you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself,” Jules wrote under Crosley’s now-deleted photograph of her with Jules, Lachie, and her husband Ben at the Brisbane Lions’ AFL final celebrations.

In another post, Jules shocked AFL fans when she revealed she had been “betrayed in the most unimaginable way” after reports emerged that she and Lachie were “working on” their marriage issues.

“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything. I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

“All I can do now is try to heal and do what’s best for my children,” she said.

On January 2, Lachie issued a public apology and announced he was stepping down as the Lions’ co-captain.

“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me. And for that I am deeply sorry,” he told a press conference.

When asked directly whether he had been unfaithful, Neale responded: “No, I can’t address those rumours.”

Neither Tess nor her husband Ben have spoken directly about the scandal, but the finance director appeared to confirm they are no longer together.

When journalists approached him for comment at his home, Ben said: “She [Tess] does not live here anymore.”

Tess has also been pictured on several occasions without wearing her wedding ring.

The pair got married in 2017 and share a young son named Beau.
