Relationship expert John Aiken pulled no punches during Sunday’s Married At First Sight as he laid into Gia Fleur and Bec Zacharia over their texting scandal.
After Gia leaked Bec’s cruel messages about fellow bride Alissa Fay, John made sure to make it clear their behaviour is just not on.
‘It’s abhorrent. Those words, those phrases … appalling,’ John said, addressing Bec and Gia at this week’s Commitment Ceremony.
John said that the experts ‘do not condone’ the women’s actions and spectacularly shut them down for their ‘high school’ attitudes.
There would be no more vicious texting, and they were never to speak of the scandal again.
‘We do not want to revisit this ever again. It is being put to bed as of right now,’ he told the cowering cast.

The texting drama played out last week.
The episode saw a shocked Alissa and her groom David Momoh, lying in bed, reacting to Bec’s vile messages.
‘Bec said: ‘Alissa is going f***ing down – rat b***h with her rat husband,’ Alissa read.
Bec’s unhinged rant continued, using a word to describe Alissa, for which fellow bride Juliette Chae herself was criticised during the couple’s retreat.
‘You know what? Alissa probably isn’t a bad girl, but her head is so far up her f***ing a***hole she doesn’t even realise what a c***t she actually is.’
As David tried to process what he was hearing, Alissa continued: ‘It gets worse. Bec then goes on to say: The only fake f***s in this place are those two a*** licking influencer wannabe c***s.’
At the Dinner Party that followed, Bec offered another apology.
But she tempered it by saying that Alissa had only seen ‘snippets’ of the group chat exchange and not the offending messages from other brides.

‘We have a war,’ Bec said, referring to Gia. ‘But Gia sent them to Juliette and Juliette’s gone and s*** on everyone,’ she said.
‘What that’s done is hurt you two, when you guys don’t deserve to be hurt,’ Bec added, attempting to mitigate her role in the drama.
Bec’s attempts at an apology did not wash with Alissa, however.
‘I know that you’ve said sorry, but this s*** is f***ed. I just want to stay out of it,’ Alissa told Bec.
‘I’m here for my husband – I’m so lucky that I have David. Ultimately, I’m just going to put it to bed,’ she added as a very dejected Bec was put in her place.
Speaking to producers, Alissa said that there was little hope of her and Bec forging a friendship after the scandal.
