MAFS Cheating Scandal! Groom caught in ‘disgusting’ act during photo challenge

Tempers erupted during Tuesday night’s explosive episode of Married At First Sight, after groom Danny Hewitt made a shock move during a testing photo challenge.

Newlyweds Danny, 34, and Bec Zacharia, 35, were given the confronting task of ranking photos of all their co-stars from what they thought was least to most attractive.

A nervous Bec told producers the task would be challenging, in light of her husband’s admission that he was struggling to feel any ‘sexual chemistry’ with her.

Bec was given photos of her male co-stars and ranked her husband Danny as the ‘hottest’, admitting she was much more attracted to him than the others, and placed the other men in order of how much she liked them.

‘I really like Danny and I want to show him that,’ Bec told producers.

However, Danny flat-out refused to participate in the task and simply put down a photo of Bec, saying she was the only one who mattered.

He then threw the photos of all the other women out the window, saying they didn’t matter to him.

‘When I am in a relationship, I have the blinkers on. All these other women, they are going off the balcony,’ Danny told his wife.

‘The grass only grows where you water it. I am not watering other people’s gardens. I am not looking at other women.’

A thrilled Bec told Danny that she was delighted by his actions.

‘I loved it! I actually didn’t expect you to rank me at the top!’ she told him.

‘By doing this he has made it very clear he is not looking at any other women, he is here with me.’

It comes after Monday’s episode saw Danny saying Gia Fleur was his ‘type’ just days into the experiment.

Bec was devastated to learn her on-screen husband may have eyes for her arch nemesis.

What exactly Danny said about Gia – and what he meant by it – is a key issue on the show this week, with cast members and viewers divided over what really happened.

According to multiple sources, Danny said something to the effect that he would have been better off paired with Gia after realising their chemistry on a smoke break.

But these same insiders stress nothing physical happened between them, and his remarks were said openly in the context of a loud group setting.

‘He said it at the table,’ a spy told the Mail. ‘It wasn’t a secret confession or anything. But it landed badly.’

Another source added: ‘There was alcohol involved, everyone was talking over each other, and it was one of those comments that should never have been said.

‘But once it was out there, it couldn’t be taken back.’

While there was no suggestion Danny wanted to leave Bec for Gia, the damage was immediate.

Bec, who was seated nearby, clocked the interaction – and the timing, sources say, could not have been worse.
