Married At First Sight bride Brooke demands controversial episode axe in leaked production emails
Married At First Sight aired one of its most controversial dinner parties ever last night, but if was up to one bride it would never have aired.
Insiders have reportedly leaked emails between Married At First Sight contestant Brook Crompton and production. Last night, in what has been called the series’ most explosive dinner party of all time, fired-up brides, Brook and Gia Fleur, staged a hostile take-down of their fellow participants Alissa Fay and Stella Mickunaite, simply because they didn’t like them.
Brook, a 27-year-old model from Queensland, called Stella “f***ing dumb” and Alissa a “ratchet idiot”, while Gia, a 35-year-old disability support worker from Victoria, called Alissa “fake” while laughing and clapping at all of Brook’s nasty commentary.
Following the filming of Dinner Party two, according to Daily Mail, Brook complained several times to the MAFS production team as she grew concerned about what the edit could look like following the night’s shocking events.

On November 4, she reportedly told Channel 9 in a series of emails: “I was in no state to be filmed while intoxicated. If a participant arrives having consumed alcohol prior to filming, it is the responsibility of production to ensure they’re fit to appear on camera.”
Brook then alleged that the evening’s events had been “deeply concerning,” and claimed there had been a “lack of appropriate assessment or intervention.”
She later sent the show a cease-and-desist, urging MAFS producers to no longer air the episode in any form.
A response from the production team revealed that they were aware Brook had paid for a bottle of champagne shortly before the dinner party, but that they had very strict “systems and processes” in place to carefully monitor contestants and their alcohol intake during filming.
They then reference written communication advising Brooke should only be allowed to have two drinks during filming of the second Dinner Party.

Production went on to detail in an email that Brook was showing “no clear signs of intoxication” when filming began, nor during an interview before the dinner.
Due to this, Brook was informed that there would be no change to the show’s regular post-production procedures, and so her request had been denied.
“I understand that you and the production team have a duty to protect yourself and the show. But I also have a duty to protect myself and my well-being,” Brook said in a follow-up email.
“I take this matter very seriously and expect the same level of accountability and duty of care on production going forward.”

It comes after Brook apologised for her behaviour in an interview with Now To Love, noting that she realised she had been a complete “cow”.
“Look, I completely cop to my behaviour,” she confessed. “There was no excuse for how I behaved. But you have to understand what it’s like being in that environment. You’ve got people egging you on, producers egging you on. I was told I wasn’t allowed to talk to Stella one-on-one, I could only do it in a group setting. Even before I came back, producers were like, ‘Don’t come back for Chris – we know you don’t like him.’
“On the night of the dinner party, before I walked in, I was in a car for like four hours. I drank two bottles of champagne.
The reality star added: “You get drunk on the drama, we were all feeling it. But I really did come across as a cow. I was a cow. I completely admit it.”
