MAFS axes its most loved expert after years as the shocking replacement is revealed

EXCLUSIVE: We’re saying goodbye to a Married At First Sight favourite after years on our screens.

Yep, Confessions Week is getting the boot to make way for the new Revelations Week, as expert Alessandra Rampolla reveals in an exclusive video you can watch above.

Confessions Week usually aims to strip down any barriers between our couples plus it’s the week we normally get to see the infamous Photo Ranking and Letter Writing tasks.

But the experts promise something bigger and better is on the horizon.

“We’re not giving the participants all the same exercises they get every year,” the clinical sexologist teased.

Revelations Week will bring new tasks, new challenges and hopefully our couples a lot closer together.

“It’s a little bit different in that we’re really encouraging our couples to really open up and reveal something about themselves that they perhaps haven’t shared with anyone in the past,” dating and relationship expert Mel Schilling added.

Alessandra argued that the change was much needed and would ensure that participants can’t prepare their next move for tasks they’re expecting to come their way because of the experiment’s popularity.

While Revelations Week will get a share of the spotlight, the experts all agreed that strong women would also take centre stage this season.

“We are seeing women who are very clear on what they want in relationships and what they don’t want,” Mel said.

John Aiken warned us to keep an eye out for the “boss babes”.

“This is what they call themselves, they are empowered, outspoken alpha women who will call out bad behaviour when they see it,” he said.

“They’re not interested in being liked. They just want justice and they want to speak their truth.”

Alessandra wasn’t the least bit surprised that yet again the cast was filled with massive personalities, she argued that you have to be to raise your hand for an experiment like MAFS.
