You Won’t Believe the Insane $14 Million Mansion Kyle Sandilands Just Bought – And He’s Dumping His ‘Castle’!
Which Aussie suburbs are investors flocking to?
Kyle Sandilands and his family have quietly moved back into their renovated $14m home against the backdrop of his $100m+ court battle with KIIS broadcaster ARN.
Sandilands and his wife Tegan bought the luxury home in one of Australia’s most exclusive suburbs – where the median house price is an eyewatering $9.5m or 9.5 times the national average – in late 2023.
The pair then immediately set on filing a DA for the property which included plans to add a third storey to the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in order to capitalise on Harbour, Bridge and city views.

Sandilands had been living a short drive away in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs in Bellevue Hill while the renovations were happening. The family, including son Otto, moved back into their salubrious Vaucluse pad earlier this week, ahead of the first day of Sandilands’ Federal Court hearing against ARN on Friday.
The renovation of the Vaucluse home was a considerable one.
Prior to the changes, sources told the Wentworth Courier, that apart from a third level offering a better view of the harbour, Tegan was keen to have the bedrooms move upstairs.

The layout when the couple bought had three of the four-bedrooms on the entry level with the fourth bedroom downstairs behind the garage. Having the master suite, which has an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, right next door to the lounge and dining room was not considered ideal.
Moving the bedrooms upstairs would have also allowed the couple to have the entire entry level as a huge entertainment space opening to an alfresco area, the pool and spa.

It’s been a busy week for Sandilands amid reports he has been forced to cut the price guide for his gloriously renovated home in the Hills Shire on Sydney’s outskirts by around $1m.
The mansion which was brought to market in February by Carolyn Wheatley Principal at Belle Property Dural had a guide of $5.7m to $5.9m. That guide has now been dropped to $4.9m.

The radio star paid $3m for the expansive property in the Hills District in Sydney’s North West in August 2022 with the intention to build a Hamptons-style family home.
Sandilands settled on the 9580 sqm acreage in Glenorie which adjoins bushland, just weeks before his then-fiancee now wife Tegan Kynaston give birth to the couple’s first child, Otto.
The home has changed significantly since it was last up for grabs as a “property [that] really does need to be seen to be believed”.
The listing of the home comes amid a what appears to be a bitter falling out between Sandilands and his long-time co-star of his hugely popular KIIS FM morning radio show Jackie O.

“It’s a wonderful home and Kyle and Tegan have worked tirelessly on a beautiful renovation,” Wheatley said.
“They have blended the traditional Georgian character of the home with a contemporary upgrade, that is in keeping with the lineage of the home.”
