Imogen Anthony delivers brutal wake-up call to ex Kyle and Jackie O after show is pulled

Imogen Anthony has weighed in on the fate of The Kyle and Jackie O Show and urged ex-boyfriend Kyle Sandilands and co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson to ‘snap the f**k out of it’.

‘With everyone hoping that Kyle gets cancelled, this man also still helps me look after over 100 rescued animals,’ Imogen wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.

‘Kyle often says the wrong thing. I spent eight years with this man, but I also understand Jackie being an outspoken Aquarian.

‘I also have seen how much he has taken Jackie along every step of the way and ensured she was treated fairly. I’m upset for both of them to be completely honest and hope they can just snap the f**k out of it.’

Anthony, who operates the Crimson Peak Animal Sanctuary in NSW, added that Sandilands was her ‘best friend’ and had done significant animal welfare work with her over the years.

‘The wellbeing of my animals is my top priority. And for those who have followed me, know how much they mean to me and still mean to him. So when you’re wishing ill upon someone today, remember who you’re also choosing ill upon,’ she wrote.

‘He’s my best friend. I’ll defend him no matter what him and I have been through…’ she added.

The media titan announced his shock split from the Big Brother VIP star on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in November 2019.

She has since moved on with new partner Harley Jones, with the pair tying the knot during a Vegas wedding in 2022.

KIIS FM’s parent company ARN announced on Tuesday that Henderson’s $100million contract has been terminated after she told executives she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands’ following his harsh comments on-air that left her in tears.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else faces termination.

ARN provided written notice to Sandilands stating that it considers his behaviour during the show on February 20 ‘an act of serious misconduct which is in breach of ARN’s services agreement with Quasar Media’.

The KIIS breakfast show will be taken off-air immediately, with ‘interim arrangements made for the show’.

ARN has offered Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the network.

Sandilands and Henderson signed a 10-year deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in 2023, and have eight years left on the contract.

Henderson, 51, has been AWOL from the Kyle & Jackie O show since Friday, 20 February, after Sandilands, 54, accused her of being unfocused at work.

During the on-air feud, Henderson broke down in tears when the pair were discussing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Sandilands got angry at her when she proceeded to read out the disgraced royal’s birth chart.

He lambasted his co-star, claiming that her love for astrology was affecting her work.

When Henderson attempted to defend herself and accused him of launching an attack on her, he stated he was only expressing the ‘facts’.

She took a leave of absence following the altercation, and was expected to return to the show on March 2, however, that was not to be.
