Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic reveal baby No. 3 is on the way — and their two boys have a very special reason to celebrate
There is a new chapter ahead for Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic, and this time, their two young sons are preparing to take on a very special new role.
The Today Extra presenter and her husband, Sky News host Peter Stefanovic, have announced they are expecting their third child — and there was an especially joyful surprise waiting for the family.
After welcoming two boys, Oscar, six, and Henry, five, the couple revealed that their next baby will be a girl.

Sylvia, 40, shared the news on social media on Sunday morning, posting a series of family photos with Peter and their sons.
Her message was filled with the kind of excitement that comes with knowing the family is about to change once again.
“Oh baby… number 3 is on the way and the boys are already taking their big bro duties seriously.”
Then came the reveal.
Sylvia explained that it was Oscar who got to tell the family they were expecting a little girl.
And judging by his reaction, it was a moment the family will remember for years to come.

Sylvia joked that their daughter will have to get used to a house full of football memorabilia and hand-me-downs.
“We hope she digs footy merch, because there’ll be a lot of hand-me-downs,” she wrote.
“Jump on board, baby girl. It’s fun here.”
The announcement prompted an immediate wave of congratulations from Sylvia and Peter’s television colleagues and friends.
Among those celebrating the news were Samantha Armytage, Leila McKinnon and Lauren Tomasi, who all shared their excitement for the growing family.
