MasterChef Fans Are Sobbing! Andy Allen Names Baby Boy With Hidden Jock Zonfrillo Tribute — The Sweet Detail That’s Breaking Social Media Right Now!

Fans are convinced Andy Allen has made a touching tribute to Jock Zonfrillo while announcing the birth of his son.

The MasterChef judge, 37, took to Instagram on April 17 to announce that he had welcomed his first child with his wife, Alex.

He shared adorable photographs of his baby boy and confirmed his name: Jude Jackson Allen.

And fans couldn’t help but notice that the double “J” names could be a touching reminder of his late co-host and friend, Jock.

“The letter J in Jude is also a reminder of Jock!! So special,” one fan commented.

“Congratulations. Jock should be so proud of you. Such a beautiful name too,” another said.

“Jock would be so proud of you! Congratulations,” a third penned.

“Love the name,” another added.

In another poignant coincidence, Andy’s son was born just days before the third anniversary of Jock’s death.

Andy was one of the last people to see Jock, having had lunch with him the day before his sudden death.

On the second anniversary of his death, Andy shared a photograph of them together on Instagram alongside some heartfelt words.

“2 years since we lost the great man @zonfrillo. I miss him more than ever,” he said at the time.

Andy met Jock when they both joined MasterChef: Back to the Win alongside Melissa Leong in October 2020.

“I couldn’t think of doing it [hosting MasterChef] with anyone else,” Andy told our sister publication TV Week in 2021, years before Jock’s passing.

After Jock’s death, Andy considered not returning to the show, but made the decision to continue as a judge to honour Jock’s legacy.

“It was tough, I didn’t know whether I was going to do it,” he previously told The Project.

Andy now judges MasterChef alongside Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli. The 2026 series premiered on Sunday, April 19
