Seven years after Lisa Curry and Mark Tabone married, the couple marked their enduring relationship with an emotional vow renewal in Fiji.

A New Promise Seven Years Later
Lisa and Mark first married on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast on May 11, 2018. A second ceremony later followed in Malta, where Mark spent part of his younger years.
In October 2025, they renewed their vows at Leleuvia Island Resort in Fiji, seven years after their original wedding.
Lisa shared photographs from the ceremony alongside an emotional message about the man with whom she had built her new life. She described Mark as “the man who sees my good days and my not-so-good days”.
Her words were not simply about romance. They reflected what their relationship had been required to carry since they first exchanged vows.

Jaimi was Lisa’s daughter with her former husband, Grant Kenny, and Mark’s stepdaughter. Her passing profoundly affected the entire family and changed the life Lisa and Mark had been building together.

“When we lost Jaimi, I lost my wife and it took two years to get her back,” he said.

Lisa and Mark’s relationship began in 2015 after they met during a charity walk. Mark, an entertainer known for his Elvis performances, later recalled that Lisa unexpectedly started a conversation with him on Messenger.
Both had emerged from long marriages and were uncertain about what the future might hold. Their online conversation continued, phone numbers were exchanged and a new relationship gradually began.
Three years later, they married in front of family and friends on the Sunshine Coast.
