MAFS: After The Experiment was rocked by Danny’s shock arrival to the grand finale, on-air reunion.
In the biggest TV reunion since the experiment ended, the groom was a no-show until he appeared last minute to face the hosts of the hit Stan series. But there was one person he refused to face: his ex-wife Bec.
Bec labelled Danny a “coward” for not facing her after the “horrendous” comments he made about Bec in previously unseen footage aired during last week’s MAFS: After The Dinner Party.
But then the reality of facing Danny for the first time hit.
“I don’t know if I can do this,” said Bec in tears before realising, “I think he should face me. I think I’m owed that after what he said about me.
“I deserve an explanation so bring him out,” she said.
The only problem was, while Danny was in the building, he refused to see Bec, or any of the cast for the matter.
Backstage, producers told the groom he could instead have a solo chat with the hosts.
“But then I just look like a coward,” Danny reacted. “That’s what everyone’s going to say, he was too scared. He was too scared to talk in front of everyone else because he wanted to control the narrative.
“I look like a b–ch if I don’t. I look like a coward. I’d rather wait,” he told the producers.
Bec was fuming.
“So he won’t sit with me and face me?” she pressed the hosts.
“If you were a real man, like you talk about being, you would face me. But the fact that he won’t after what he did to me is cowardly,” Bec said.
When Danny finally faced the hosts without the other participants, Bec stormed on set, gate crashed Danny’s live TV appearance and demanded an apology from the groom.
He had already apologised on air to Steph for his “repulsive” behaviour when Bec walked in.
Elsewhere in the Stan reunion, Danny called out his fame-chasing co-stars, Gia was blasted for pulling a no-show and the rest of the cast revealed exactly what they’re up to now.
