The Block couple has welcomed a healthy new baby more than a year after tragically losing their daughter Billie at just 10 days old.
Grab the tissues for some happy tears. The Block’s Foreman Dan Reilly and wife Dani Wales finally have reason to smile again after a heartbreaking year.
The reality TV couple have shared the news that they have safely welcomed a healthy baby boy – Fletcher James Reilly – just over a year after tragically losing their firstborn daughter.
The doting dad took to Instagram to show off his adorable son, who was born earlier this month.

“Fletcher James Reilly. Our perfect boy. 10.04.26,” he captioned the carousel of snaps – including one of baby Fletcher rugged up in some fresh newborn knits, enjoying those first cuddles with mum, and the milestone moment of leaving the hospital with his proud parents.
It was a precious milestone that Dan and Dani were unfortunately unable to enjoy when their daughter Billie was born in December 2024.
Billie suffered complications at birth, which led her to spending her first and last days in NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) fighting for her life. She died at just 10 days old.

Last season, Dan and Dani had contestants in tears as they opened up about their tragic loss and how they plan to honour their baby girl moving forward.
Returning to the series just months after the tragedy, Dan, together with his wife, returned to the building site.
“Due to … what’s the word … some complications at birth, we only got to spend 10 days with our beautiful girl Billie,” he said. “We’re actually very grateful for those ten days.”
Almost a year later, the couple returned to social media with some happier news – “Billie’s sibling” was on their way.
The rainbow baby was announced in a heartwarming post of the couple enjoying a beach sunrise, with a sweet silhouette of Dani’s gorgeous baby bump.
“As sure as the sun rises and sets each day, she is with us for this next chapter … Billie’s sibling coming 2026,” they wrote.
Needless to say, fans were thrilled to hear the news at the time and they returned once again with the birth announcement, sharing some heartfelt words.

The Block host Shelley Craft was one of the first to congratulate the new parents, referring to the arrival as a “magic moment”. ️
“He’s the luckiest little man to have been given you two as his parents and Billie as his guardian angel. Cannot wait to see you all,” she commented.
Former contestants Kyal and Kara also chimed in with: “Congratulations Fam. ️He is SO delicious. Enjoy the bubble.”
Other fans also offered up reassuring messages about Billie being her little brother’s guardian angel.
