We’ve only got one more week until we find out who the winner of Australian Idol is, but it might have been leaked already.
At the time of publication, the remaining six contestants are putting it all on the line in the hopes of making it to the top three in this year’s grand final.
But who will take the crown?

Who won Australian Idol 2026?
We don’t know who has won the competition yet, which is solely determined by Australia’s votes.
With the clock ticking, fans already have their picks.
“Kesha for the win #keshaforthewin,” one fan wrote on social media about the skier from Jindabyne.
“Literally the winner of the show,” another added in agreement.
“I really hope you win this Kesha, you should never be at the bottom! Rise high girl ,” another said, after she was in the bottom four on March 31.
Other fans have been rallying around landscaper Kalani Artis.
“2026 Idol winner ,” one wrote.
“As I have picked the winners in the past, he has everything they are looking for,” another wrote about his breathtaking audition.
Others think Adam-Lambert-lookalike, Harlan Goode, is in for the win.
“From the moment I first saw Harlan sing, I’ve been predicting at least Top three and now, I’m predicting him to win Australian Idol this year,” a fan said.
“You were born for this Harlan Australia’s next idol absolutely! Congratulations ,” another wrote.
As for what the other contestants think?
Fan favourite Simela Petridis exclusively told New Idea that it was “anyone’s game”.
“Whoever does take it out to the top six, they will be very successful, and it will be magical,” she said after her shock elimination.
“So, no doubt it will be incredible, the journey that they’re about to embark on.”

When is Australian Idol on?
Because of Easter Sunday, the next performances are set to air on Easter Monday.
That means we will find out which three singers are making it to the finale, and who will be going home on Tuesday, April 6, at 7.30pm.

When is the Australian Idol grand finale?
The finale date has not been confirmed yet, but it will either air on Monday, April 13, or Tuesday, April 14, on Channel Seven and 7plus.
