A popular Channel Seven TV host has narrowly avoided accidentally dropping a swear word live on-air while presenting a morning news story.
The Morning Show presenter Kylie Gillies was left embarrassed following her faux pas on Tuesday morning, after a segment on sleeping habits certainly woke up some viewers.
“Brown, white, and even pink: They’re all types of noises which are meant to help you sleep. But now, another c*** ah, colour – is entering the chat,” Gillies said.
Her co-presenter Sally Bowrey tried to keep the segment going.
“Indeed – green noise! That’s the latest fad to help people catch some Z’s,” Bowrey said before falling into a laughing fit.

Gillies looked visibly uncomfortable as the pair continued to present the segment.
The moment was clipped up for social media by the official Morning Show Instagram page, captioned as, “10/10 for keeping it together”.
Gillies apologised on the Instagram post for the viral mortifying gaffe.
“I am so sorry. I saw ‘colour’, was reading ahead to ‘chat’ .. and ended up somewhere in between,” the 58-year-old explained.
Bowrey reacted to the viral clip and gave praise to Gillies.
“This is why we love Kylie Gillies … the show must go on!” she said on Instagram.
The moment may go down with other famous slip-ups in Australian television history.
In 2012 co-host of Network Ten’s The Project Carrie Bickmore slipped up when she was talking about airlines.
She mistakenly mispronounced Qantas with a ‘C’.
“Virgin’s targeting key corporate routes, hoping to win over C**tas … excuse me, Qantas customers,” Bickmore said.
Following the mistake she apologised on X, writing: “Any publicity is good publicity right??!! Sorry @qantasairways and my nan.”
