We can’t wait to tune in!
Channel 10 has confirmed that MasterChef Australia is coming back in 2026, and our favourite judges are also returning!
The network announced the exciting news at its 2026 Upfronts event on November 6. It also revealed that a bunch of “fresh faces” will join the series.
And now, after months of anticipation, we just got our first look at what we can expect.
Scroll on to find out more.

Who are the judges for MasterChef Australia 2026?
MasterChef Australia alumni Andy Allen and Poh Ling Yeow, Logie nominee Sofia Levin, and Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will once again critique dishes this year.
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief after there were fears that Jean-Christophe wouldn’t return after he signed on to an international cooking show.
As per usual, we will be treated with incredible dishes and impressive cameos.
Throughout the teaser, which was released on March 10, Andy said the “new superstars of food” will rise to the occasion.
While the show is known for its chef star power, two Aussie icons will also be in the kitchen during the 18th season.
Dancing with the Stars USA champion and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! host Robert Irwin will be trading the zoo for the kitchen.
Former Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes will also make an appearance with his wife, Jane.
“I couldn’t come here without bringing you something special,” he said to the contestants, so we will have to wait and see what he has in store for them.

Who won MasterChef Australia 2025?
Last year, we watched fan favourite Laura Sharrad enter the competition for a third time and finish as the winner!
Even though we don’t have any details about the 2026 contestants, we are excited to see what they can do!
When is MasterChef Australia 2026 airing?
An air date has not been confirmed, but based on previous years, it might come out towards the end of April or early May.
