The ugly feud between rival brides destroyed another dinner party during a chaotic episode of Married At First Sight on Wednesday.
Bec Zachariah entered the evening in a warring mood, still stinging after her disastrous couples retreat that saw Juliette Chae call the controversial bride ‘a dumb ‘c**t’.
Bec let everyone know she meant business straight off by turning down an apology from Juliette in front of the group during pre-dinner drinks.
‘No, no, no…it is fake,’ Bec said during a reaction interview after.
The furious bride continued: ‘I want to hold her to account in front of everyone, and ask what I have done to you to deserve to be called such awful, awful, vile names over and over.
‘To be called a dumb c**t and dumb f***ing freak over and over for no reason – what have I done to deserve that?
Meanwhile, Gia was still fuming over her former friend after Bec’s off-colour joke about Rachel and Steve’s sex life during the retreat.
At one point, the bride told Juliette ‘not to back down’ with Bec, slamming her for ‘wanting sympathy’.
Once the group was seated, Sam attempted to be diplomatic, declaring that ‘apologies’ were expected later, before asking everyone for an update on their relationships.
Bec saw her chance to confront Juliette when her turn to discuss progress with husband Joel came, with the comment causing obvious tension around the table.
‘Juliette, I have a question for you,’ Bec began.
‘At retreat, Rachel and I had an issue. You and other members of this group decided to hold me to account to an extent that is just baffling to me.
‘You guys came for me and came for me day after day after day. What did I do to you to deserve being called a dumb ‘f***ing c**t and a freak multiple times. What I want to know is why?’
At first, Juliette appeared to be speechless and confused over the question, and was even seen turning toward Gia, seemingly for support, which only enraged Bec more.
Juliette then began to speak haltingly, and even appeared to be struggling for words, before blurting out: ‘You just kind of threw your friend Rachel under the bus.’
The comment upset Rachel, who whispered to Steve, ‘I don’t want this brought up again.’
Juliette continued with a series of claims against Bec, including that she tried to turn the brides against Rachel.
‘It’s all lies,’ Bec replied.
During a post-dinner party interview, Rachel took Bec’s side and appeared to resent Juliette’s comments.
‘Juliette is not getting the point – stop speaking for other people. Stop making other people’s issues, your own, they’re not.’
She added: ‘I would never speak to another person the way that Juliette spoke to Bec.’
At the dinner table, Rachel tried to calm things down by saying: ‘There is a divide happening within this group.’
Turning to Juliette, she added, ‘It’s not about me taking sides right now, it’s the language you used toward Bec, which is not okay.
‘We have a plethora of words in the English language we could use.’
Juliette’s reply then sent eyeballs rolling around the table: ‘I need to read more.’
Rachel pressed home her point: ‘No one at this table deserves to be called a dumb c**t, or a freak.’
Later, Juliette said she was ‘hurt’ by Rachel ‘turning on her’ over her feud with Bec.
Bec finally demanded an apology from Juliette, but the attempt fell flat, as the bride tried to rationalise her attack.
Juliette admitted later that she only said sorry so, ‘Bec would stay away from me.’
‘Bec, my delivery and me calling you names was disgusting and vile, and I definitely should not have done that,’ Juliette said.
But just as things appeared to turn peaceful at the dinner table, Gia attacked Danny and Bec, after the groom attempted to give a toast to the group in the name of better times ahead.
‘Where is my apology?’ the angry bride said in reference to her long-running feud with the couple, adding, ‘Did it get lost in the mail?’
Gia’s outburst set the scene for more drama, as she revealed to Chris and Juliette that she had DMs from Bec where the bride had attacked Alissa, Rachel and Stella.
‘I could ruin everything for [Bec] right now,’ Gia said, and threatened to show the screenshots she had saved.
