Juliette delivered one of the biggest Dinner Party meltdowns we’ve ever seen at the fourth Dinner Party – and it turns out there was more to it than just the word “star”.
Explosive unseen footage aired on the third episode of MAFS: After The Dinner Party (streaming now on Stan) has blown the lid off the drama, showing the exact moment the “pissed off” bride vowed to turn the entire group against her husband Joel.
In the raw, never-before-seen clip, Juliette stares straight at a producer and delivers a chilling warning:
“I’m gonna f—ing villainise him. I’ll turn the whole entire group against him then.”
The confession has left jaws on the floor – and when both Juliette and Joel watched it back live on the couch alongside hosts Laura Byrne, Brittany Hockley and Jules Lund, the tension was electric.
Joel didn’t hold back. “The part that troubles me the most was there was a pre-meditation about what she was going to do,” he said, visibly shaken. “It’s cold and calculated. It was almost bone-chilling, that.”
Juliette, however, stood by her claim that she never planned to “blow-up” at the Dinner Party – until she felt triggered by what she believed was a lie.
During a heated argument, Joel had told her “you don’t see the star in me” – his poetic way of saying she didn’t see his unique qualities. Juliette, in the heat of the moment, heard it as him calling himself “the star of the show.”
Jules Lund pressed her: did she purposely lie or simply misremember?
“Completely misremembered,” Juliette insisted. “Everything was just completely foggy and blurry and I feel like I was just completely wigging out. I heard the star comment and as soon as I heard that I just went ‘boom’.”
She now admits she was wrong about the comment and says she feels “f—ing awful” about the way she behaved. But when the conversation turned to her most explicit insult of the night, Juliette’s response took everyone by surprise.
